“I wanted to bring the flavors of my home — the real taste of the hacienda — to the people of Georgia.”
Raquel — also known as Kelly — was born and raised on her family’s hacienda in Mexico. After years of hard work and dedication, she opened the first La Hacienda Azteca at Lake Oconee, bringing the authentic flavors of her homeland to Georgia.
Four years later, Kelly expanded to Milledgeville to share a taste of Azteca with even more families across the region. Now celebrating 10 years at Lake Oconee in April 2026, the Azteca legacy continues to grow.
